Terms and Conditions* We will conduct a scoping project, which will be conducted in accordance with the relevant professional and ethical standards issued by the Institute of Chartered Professional Accountants of British Columbia (CPABC). The project deliverable is a proposal for on-going accounting services. For clarity, this engagement does not bind either party to the terms of the delivered proposal. The extent of our procedures and services will be limited exclusively for this purpose only. As a result, no audit or review will be performed and, accordingly, no assurance will be expressed. Our engagement cannot be relied upon to disclose irregularities including fraud, other illegal acts and errors that may exist. However, we will inform you of any such matters that come to our attention. Our Responsibilities We will maintain the confidentiality of all information that we obtain from you during our engagement, except where such disclosure is required by law or our Rules of Professional Conduct. In accordance with professional regulations (and our own policy), our client files are subject to review by practice inspectors and by other members of our firm to ensure that we are adhering to professional and our own standards. These individuals are required to hold the contents of our client files in complete confidence. We wish to draw your attention to our firm's system of quality control which has been established and maintained in accordance with the relevant CPABC standard. As a result, our files may be subject to review as part of the quality control review program of our professional body which monitors compliance with professional standards by its members. We advise you that by accepting our engagement you acknowledge that, if requested, our files relating to this engagement will be made available under this program. Should this occur, we will advise you. Your Responsibilities In accepting the terms of this Engagement, you acknowledge and agree that: As we are not conducting any procedures that will provide any assurance as to the financial information of the Company, it is your responsibility to provide us with all of the complete and accurate information necessary to fulfill the above listed services. In the course of this engagement, we will seek from management additional information in order to complete the proposal. It is acknowledged that we will be given access to personal information in your custody that we require to complete our engagement. In accepting these terms, you represent to us that management has obtained any required consent for collection, use and disclosure to us of personal information required under applicable privacy legislation.
