We are thrilled to announce that Avalon Accounting is now a CPA pre-approved training office. This means that our associates can enroll in the rigorous but rewarding CPA Western School of Business and become CPAs.

Compilation, Tax and Advisory

Avalon associates will be part of the compilation, tax and advisory CPA training path. This means that they will be focusing on topics including:

  • Financial reporting and accounting policies
  • Accounting systems implementation and use
  • Planning, budgeting and forecasting
  • Profitability management and performance measurement
  • Tax legislation, compliance and planning

These learned skills are key components to running a thriving business.

The CPA Way

The CPA program also does an excellent job of teaching CPA candidates how to address professional problems and scenarios that arise during work as an accountant. Scenarios are tackled in a methodical way with a focus on communication and adding value while always maintaining integrity and due care.
