What Does Dext Do?

Dext is a software application that allows business owners to electronically capture and store their receipts. 

Supporting documentation is securely stored electronically so it’s available on any computer or connected device. No more need for the shoe-box full of receipts.

Dext Process

After making a purchase, the business owner uploads the receipt to Dext. 

The software then uses optical character recognition to extract information from the document.   No more manual entry.

Extracting the data helps eliminate user error. Dext will separate out:

  • Date of purchase
  • Where the purchase was made (supplier name)
  • Amount of purchase
  • Sales tax paid
  • Currency of purchase if available on the receipt

Now that all of this information is recorded electronically, Dext can be connected to bookkeeping software such as Xero to really streamline things.

Dext Pricing

Dext has three monthly subscriptions, Business Plus, Premium and Enterprise.

Business Plus $27 per Month

The Business Plus plan is $27 per month and is good for small to medium sized businesses.  It includes up to 5 users and up to 300 monthly document uploads.

Premium $53 per Month

The Premium plan is $53 per month and is good for larger businesses with more users and more uploads.  Premium allows up to 20 users and up to 3,000 monthly document uploads.

Enterprise $80 per Month

The Enterprise plan is best for larger enterprises. It allows up to 30 users and up to 4,000 monthly document uploads.
